Are you a long-time resident of this area?
Local filmmaker looking for people who have lived in the Woodbridge area any time in between the 1920s and 195s.
If you lived in the Woodbridge area in the 1950s or earlier we’d like to talk to you about your memories of driving around here in earlier times.
Why are we doing this?
The New Jersey Department of Transportation is making a documentary film about the Woodbridge Cloverleaf. This local intersection of Route 35 (Amboy Avenue) and Route 1&9 has been designated a historic site. The present Cloverleaf interchange, constructed in 1928, was the very first cloverleaf in the United States. It is scheduled to be demolished in the very near future and replaced with a new design.
We hope to include in the program interviews with people who lived in the area and have seen how the population and the traffic has increased over the years. And if you remember actually driving on the cloverleaf years ago, we’d really like to hear from you!.
